Past Players and Supporters
An air of anticipation, excitement and expectation awaits as another cricket season is fast approaching (12th October start) and we are reaching out to you once again to renew your membership of our LION NATHAN Past Players and Supporters Association. We are extremely grateful for your loyalty in our three years of existence and trust you can continue in your support of the GCC.
Our ideals remain the same as originally set out –
have a far greater level of communication with all members
allow and encourage past and existing players to maintain a link to each other, support each other and be more intergenerational and caring as an all inclusive club
to work much harder to engage with our female members and supporters
to foster regular contact between members through functions, match day get-togethers and other social activities.
past players can provide knowledge, expertise, contacts to assist the current committee.
provide a source of additional funding for club activities and operations
facilitate fund raising to foster development of up and coming players (junior development)
facilitate fund raising for capital works and equipment purchases
A social function (light refreshments and beverages) plus a small gift funded by the club in recognition and appreciation of your membership and support will be arranged for later in the season (date to be advised). We trust you can see your way clear and be excited by continuing to be a a paid up member and supporter of the mighty Grange Dolphins Cricket Club once again. We would love to have you on board once again.
Exciting times are ahead as we are fielding some 26 teams this season starting at Under 10 level right through to Over 70’s veterans cricket and where our junior registrations are at an all time high. Our numbers at pre season senior training have been excellent with the players appreciating our revamped net practice wicket area. We have substantially strengthened our playing list with an influx of some of quality cricketers that hopefully will take our five senior teams deep into finals action.
